Ryan Jacobson is a freelance journalist with a master’s degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University in Winter Lake, FL. He has taught elementary school, middle school, and high school over the past 13 years. Ryan recently passed his level one examination with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is currently in the process of studying for the certified sommelier examination. He enjoys short walks on the beach, but only if it leads to a beach bar.

Erin Burke is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers with a master’s degree in education who has been in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years. She is currently the Food and Beverage Director and Sommelier for a Forbes 4 Star rated establishment. When not mixing drinks behind the bar or pouring wine for guests, she is busy researching and tasting to keep up on the latest trends and blends. An avid traveler, she will go to ends of the Earth to find the next new vineyard if necessary. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
